Researchers may choose to use their established panel due to its familiarity and existing engagement. If you already possess a dedicated community of users, such as beta-testers or subscribers to newsletters, this approach can streamline the recruitment process. Your testers are already invested in your project, resulting in valuable feedback that aligns closely with your research goals.
How to Get Started:
Currently, if you prefer to use your own panel rather than ours, the first step is to inform us. We're here to accommodate your preferences and assist you in achieving the best possible research outcomes. In the near future, we’ll introduce a feature that seamlessly integrates the option to use your panel directly into our interface, providing even more convenience.
Setting Up Your Preferred Panel:
When you're ready to harness the power of your own panel, here are the steps to ensure a smooth process:
- Notify Us: Inform us of your intent to use your own panel, and we'll take care of enabling this option for you.
- Define Tester Criteria: Clearly outline the attributes you're seeking in your testers, such as demographic information, expertise, and interests.
- Prepare Your Panel: Reach out to your panel members, communicating the upcoming research opportunity and explaining the process.
- Set up the settings correctly: You’ll have to set up screening questions (if needed), quotas, max completion time and redirect links. Here’s how it all works:
Here's a breakdown of the key elements:
- Screening Questions: We suggest beginning with a context block that informs testers about the estimated test duration. Encourage them to complete the test without interruption to yield more accurate results. Then feel free to add choice blocks as your screening procedure.
- Quotas: Divide your audience into specific groups using quotas. This approach ensures a balanced representation of participants. For instance, if you require 100 male and 100 female testers, the 101st tester from either group won't be able to proceed and get a quotaFull screen.
- Max Completion Time: This metric sets the maximum time allotted for completing the test once initiated. It reserves a tester's spot for the defined period.
- Redirect Links: These links are pivotal and come from the partnering panel. They play a significant role in the testing journey:
- Completion URL: This directs testers who passed the screening questions to proceed with the study.
- ScreenOut URL: Testers who didn't meet the screening criteria will be redirected here.
- QuotaFull URL: When a specific tester group quota is filled, testers attempting to join will be directed here.
Properly setting up these aspects ensures a streamlined process, enhancing both your efficiency and your testers' experience. By optimizing your settings, you're creating an environment conducive to generating insightful and accurate feedback from your valued panel members.
- Give your panel the green light: Once your settings are good to go, let the panel know that your test is ready to receive replies and share the test link with them. This link will connect them to your test, allowing them to provide valuable feedback. Make sure you share the link under «Hire testers from an external panel» and not «Share via link».
- Gather Insights: As responses start coming in, our platform will compile the feedback for your analysis, helping you make informed decisions.
Utilizing your preferred panel is an effective way to tap into a community that's already invested in your work. Whether you're seeking quick insights or in-depth feedback, this approach caters to your specific research needs, providing a personalized and efficient recruitment strategy. Soon, our integrated interface will offer even greater flexibility in employing your panel seamlessly.
